Darius sends for his cousin Stefan (from Transylvania) to help him lure Dr. Rodriguez into a business with them. Dr. Liliana Rodriguez has discovered a serum that replicates blood and unbeknownst to her the serum allows the vampires to manage their need for blood. She is presently in a patent battle with Green Hospital patent rights to this serum.
Darius and Stefan have a history of conflict throughout the years, one conflict of which was over a woman they both loved. Darius doesn’t trust Stefan around his new fiance, Ciara, because of these past issues. However, they agree to join forces to get their hands on a continuous supply of Dr. Liliana’s serum for themselves and other vampires in the family.
Stefan claims his vampirism is different and claims a past lover, Dariana, who is a witch, has cursed him with his vampirism. He has been on a quest to find a psychic or medium to remove the curse. The vampire family believes Stefan is making up all of these stories about Dariana and they don’t believe him. They think he cannot face his fate.
Will Darius & Stefan be able to talk Dr. Liliana into business with them? Or will the cousins’ conflicts from their past get in the way? Everyone is worried about the ultimate betrayal but who will be its victim?
